Youth (Intermediates) and Families Worker

Hi church, I’m excited to announce that we are seeking a staff member for the church to minister to intermediates (year 7 to 11’s) in our parish. The goals for the role are:

·         to evangelise and disciple year 7 – 11’s in the parish.

·         To equip parents to nurture long-term faith in their families. 

·         Develop youth and families leadership skills. 

·         Development of Christian Character

The Awatere Christian Joint Venture (www.acjv.org.nz) is seeking someone with a passion for youth (intermediates) ministry and a heart to serve to join our mission.

The role is part time (12 hours pw.) and is a two-year fixed term role. The key components of the role are Sunday ministry, midweek outreach and encouraging families.
